Student Volunteers from St. Xavier's College teaching Children
- This programme is largely possible due to the help received from a number of individuals and institutions. The Pavement Club is one of the thirty Organizations which have come together to form the 'Co-ordination Committee for Vulnerable Children' (C.C.V.C.), a forum consisting of NGO's and resource groups whose work involves the upliftment of vulnerable children.
- The work performed by the Pavement Club and Pavement Children’s Elementary School is recognized and appreciated by some of Mumbai's leading Schools and Colleges, viz, Rotract Clubs, St. Xavier's College, H.R. College, K. C. College, Govt. Law College, S.N.D.T. College to name a few. Students and representatives from these institutions are sent to the project on a regular basis to undertake compulsory hours of Social Service under the structured curriculum of their institutions. This encourages the College students identify with the plight of underprivileged children and the importance of helping NGOs.
