Our students at Mumbai Y.M.C.A "Peace Poster Painting Competition"
- 5 students of different age groups won prizes at the inter-school painting competition organized by the Time and Talents Club at the Sir J.J. School on 7th November 2009. To add to the glory, 3 students won prizes at the “Peace Painting” Competition organized by the Bombay Y.M.C.A. (Young Men's Christian Association) in 2009.
- Gaurav Mahto, Anand Acharya and Reshma Goregaonkar who have been in the Pavement School since their childhood, have now reached College level and have made us proud.
- Jaya Parke, Javed Sheikh, Rajshekhar and Shahid Ali Sheikh will sit for the School Leaving Board (High School) exam in March 2010.
- 5 Senior boys and 2 staff members from the Pavement School were part of the Church football team, which went on to win the 3rd place at the Inter Church Football Tournament organized by the Methodist Church held in September 2009 in Mumbai.
- Sachin Gupta, who joined the Pavement School in 1996, today is a young man who has completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Siddarath College, Mumbai University.
- A group of 11 Girls gave a spectacular dance performance at the "Diwali Dhamaka", a Cultural event conducted by 'Anmol' at the Auxilim School. The performance received a standing ovation from an audience of almost a thousand people!
- Students from the Pavement School performed a dance item at the Y.M.C.A. grounds on 26th November 2009 as part of the Peace Rally by Y.M.C.A. (Young Men’s Christian Association) & C.A.S.A. (Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action) to honour those who had laid down their lives in the terrorist attack on Mumbai in 26th November 2008.
